IEMT Training

What is IEMT Training?

  • Developed by Andrew T. Austin, Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) is a highly effective rapid change process that helps clients to process negative emotions and memories quickly.
  • IEMT is also used to support clients to integrate identity aspects, which may be causing internal conflict..
  • Learn 5 main Patterns of Chronicity to support your clients to have more agency to change problematic thinking and behavioural patterns.  
  • Learn to use the Lynchpin Model to work with clients with PTSD.

Who is this course for?

Unaccredited

  • Anyone can join the course and learn the eye movement protocols for their own benefit to use on themselves and with friends and family.
  • You must have an interest in personal development and change work. You must have the capacity to engage in the course material. If you are unsure, please contact Tracy before booking your place.  

Accredited

  • Suitable for professionals who are working with people, including: NLP Practitioners, Wellbeing Coaches, Hypnotherapists, Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Psychologists, Mental Health Workers, Trauma Informed Practitioners, Somatic Practitioners. 
  • You must have some experience of working 1 to 1 with clients/people. If you are unsure about this, please contact Tracy before booking your place.  
  • For certification you must complete 2 case studies and submit a 20-minute video of a session within 3 months of completing the course. To receive certification, you must register as an Associate member on the IEMT Association site (£50 per year).

    We cover a lot of material in 2 days and we incorporate a range of teaching/learning styles to help you get the most out of the experience:

    personal change

    As a trainee you will participate in the change processes yourself – we think this is a great benefit of the course. This will be done through practice sessions and learning how to self-use the protocols. 

    follow-up support

    We offer a closed FB group after the course for anyone who has further questions or would like to arrange practice sessions with other trainees. This is a great way to improve your understanding and skill with IEMT.
