Sometimes we can find ourselves experiencing an emotional release that can be tearful, bringing possible feelings of grief, sadness, and upset.

These are normal emotional responses. It's called being human.

However, there is a distinction to be made between:
Tears of change.
Tears of being stuck in a pattern of self-pity.
Tears in order to get a caring response.
Tears to get your own way.

This is innocently learned helplessness and it attempts to influence how needs are being met, but in a negative way.
If it's a genuine release, there isn't anything to do or think about it.

Don't let mind add or search for meaning, instead just trust the body and that it's using its own wisdom to let go or to process/heal/balance itself.

A release of emotions in the moment doesn't need mind to be involved or add to the process of release.

The body has its own wisdom; let it be.

If you find yourself stuck in a ‘suffering’ or ‘needs met’-type behavioural pattern, you have to first want to stop these patterns even if you don’t know how to go about this.

The fact that you can identify these patterns often starts the ball rolling to challenge yourself.

If you feel you need any help to understand or get clear on any of the patterns I have written about above, then why not just ask a question?
