Somatic Drop-in

Join Tracy for an hour in-person on Thursday evenings

in the gorgeous Community Hall at Ty'n Cellar Farm.

End your week with gentle movement to relax and connect to your body.

Somatic comes from the Greek word soma, which means body.

It's one thing to know in your mind that you have a body, but it's a whole other thing entirely to experience your body!

Many people, when they can't feel their bodies, may believe they are their bodies, which means when big emotions or physical sensations arise, they can feel easily overwhelmed.

Equally, people who have learned how to observe their body can remain at a distance from emotions and sensations, which can feel a bit alienating, or disconnected or dissociated.

When we can experience life through our bodies we experience more aliveness.

Coming home to your body is a journey... slowly, gently, moving inwards.

Tracy will guide you to develop more awareness of your body and the amazing resources that it holds - you can learn how to experience more embodiment, a deeper sense of connection and how to regulate your emotions with more ease.

Trained in the Discipline of Authentic Movement, Tracy has been exploring somatic practice for over 12 years. She uses a process of 'writing the body' to explore her own experience of aliveness.

Please bring a journal/notebook and pen.

No previous experience required.
